Brainient raises $1.8 million to make video advertising more effective
Brainient (www.brainient.com), a UK-based video advertising technology company today announced that it has closed $1.8 million in funding from a collective of strategic investors. The round was led by Prague-based Credo Ventures. Other backers include Atlas Venture (investors in DataXu, AdSafe Media, OwnerIQ), Emma Wilson (Managing Director of Harvest Digital), Jason Goodman (CEO of Albion London) and Estag Capital (investors in RevenueMax, Germany’s leading advertising exchange).

Credo Ventures invests $ 3 million in Intellitix
Intellitix, the market leader in RFID-based event management solutions and cashless payment systems, has raised $ 3 million via new shares issue. The capital will enable the company to drive international sales expansion and continue developing a strong technological platform. Intellitix was founded in 2010 by two serial entrepreneurs, Serge Grimaux and Martin Enault, having a total of 40 years of experience in event promotion and ticketing.

Credo Ventures Announces New Investors and a Partnership with Benson Oak
Credo Ventures, a Prague-based venture capital firm, announced today the second closing of Credo Stage 1, its first fund which focuses on early stage companies in the internet, IT and healthcare sectors in Central Europe, primarily the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Credo Ventures now has approximately €17.5M under management and is targeting €20M for the final close of Credo Stage 1.

Beepl receives ‘six figure’ Euro investment from Credo Ventures
Expertise platform and semantic technology company Beepl announced today that it has raised a „six figure‟ Euro seed investment led by Credo Ventures, the Prague-based VC fund targeting early stage technology companies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The funding will be used for product development and to launch Beepl.com in the coming months. Ondrej Bartos, Partner at Credo Ventures, also joins Beepl‟s Board of Directors.

€ 20M to support Central European tech startups
Czech venture firm Credo Ventures based in Prague, headed by experienced investor and technology startup scene facilitator Ondrej Bartos, announced today the first closing of its venture capital fund Credo Stage 1 aimed to invest in early stage companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as well as Central Europe, mainly in the areas of Internet, Information Technologies and Health. The fund which plans to invest € 20M in ambitious and innovative startups is currently closing at € 11M.
