Esther Dyson is notable angel investor and philanthropist. She studied economics at Harvard University and began her carrier by working for Forbes. Having worked in Rosen Research for several years, she bought the company in 1983 and renamed it to EDventure Holdings. She sold the company in 2004 to CNET Networks.
