Esther Dyson is notable angel investor and philanthropist. She studied economics at Harvard University and began her carrier by working for Forbes. Having worked in Rosen Research for several years, she bought the company in 1983 and renamed it to EDventure Holdings. She sold the company in 2004 to CNET Networks. Esther is especially interested in online services, health care, genetics and space travel, which is proved by her investments in Genomera, HealthTap, 23andMe, Keas, Medico, PatientsLikeMe, Sleepio, Valkee and others. Apart from actively investing in start-ups and advising Credo Ventures, Esther is on the Advisory Board of Journal of Participatory Medicine and on the Board of Directors of Yandex. Her latest projects include establishing HICCup, community health intervention initiative, and investment in RockTech, IT technology implementation company.

Reshma Sohoni
Reshma Sohoni

Reshma Sohoni is managing partner at Seedcamp, widely considered the world’s most connected international seed investor. Reshma holds two undergraduate degrees in Environmental Systems Engineering & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2003, she completed her MBA at INSEAD. Prior to co-founding Seedcamp in 2007, Reshma worked at Vodafone, where she focused on marketing strategy and pricing functions, and as Director of VC business for 3i, leading international investor. During her engagement in Seedcamp, Reshma invested in or supported over 90 start-ups – examples being Mobclix, Zemanta or Fameron. Apart from advising Credo Ventures, Reshma is on the European Board of All Hands, a non-profit organization helping survivors of natural disasters.

Stuart Chapman

Since 2006, Stuart has been working as managing partner at DFJ Spirit, a Pan-European venture capital fund. He studied Banking and Finance at Loughborough University and began his career at 3i Ventures, leading international investor, where he worked for several years. Stuart was founding partner of 3i US, where he was responsible for its investments in Digital Five, Appshop, Latis, Still Secure, and CollegeNet. After leaving 3i Ventures, he briefly worked at Cazenove Private Equity. His interest lies in technology companies; especially those focused on Internet & communications. Stuart is Chairman of both the Venture Capital Committee of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association and Advisory Board of PortWise, mobile identity & access management specialist.

Jan Hammer

Jan is partner at Index Ventures where he has been working since 2010. His investments include Adyen, BitPay, Credit Benchark, Just Eat, Novus, Robinhood, Socialbakers, Futurelytics, Zendesk and Zuora. Jan is particularly interested in financial services disruption and information services across all stages. Jan works with The Prince's Trust as a business mentor to young startup entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Index, Jan worked at General Atlantic in London, where he was involved with investments with Kaspersky Lab, Northgate Information Solutions and Torex Retail. Before joining General Atlantic, Jan worked at Morgan Stanley in M&A, TMT, and Capital Markets divisions in London and New York. Jan holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, and is a graduate of Oxford University.
